Questions, answered
Straight answers to what homeowners ask us most. Don't see yours? Call 660-412-2721.
What areas do you serve?
Chariton, Randolph, Howard, Macon, and Saline counties in Missouri, including Salisbury, Keytesville, Brunswick, Moberly, Huntsville, Madison, Macon, Marshall, Slater, and Clifton Hill, where we're based. See our service area.
Are you insured?
Yes. Cedar Hill Renovations is fully insured, so your home is protected while we work.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Our work is backed by a warranty. We'll go over what's covered for your specific project before any work starts.
Do you use subcontractors?
We do the majority of the work ourselves. For roofing, HVAC, and spray foam insulation, we use trusted specialists. We schedule them, manage them, and make sure their work fits ours, so you still only deal with us.
How do I get started?
Call 660-412-2721 or book a project call. We'll talk through what you want, set up a walkthrough at your home, and then give you a clear written estimate.
How much will my remodel cost?
Every house and every project is different. Cost depends on the size of the space, whether walls, plumbing, or layout change, and the materials you choose. After a walkthrough, we give you a written estimate so you know the number before work begins. Our post on what drives remodel cost explains where the money goes.
Can I stay in my home during the remodel?
Usually, yes. We plan the order of work to keep your home as livable as possible, protect the areas we're not working in, and clean up as we go.
Will I know what's going on?
Yes. Clear communication is the thing our customers mention most in their reviews. You'll get regular updates and a direct line to Justin.
Do you help pick materials and finishes?
Yes. We'll walk you through options for cabinets, counters, tile, flooring, siding, and fixtures, and tell you honestly what holds up and what doesn't.
Can I see my new kitchen or bathroom before you build it?
Yes. We can create 3D design renderings of your new kitchen or bathroom, so you can see the layout and finishes before any work starts. Learn more.
What is a polyaspartic flake floor?
It's like an epoxy flake floor, but better. You get the same speckled look, but polyaspartic cures much faster, holds its color in the sun, and stands up better to hot tires, oil, and chemicals. It's a great fit for farm shops, machine sheds, garages, and basements. See our flake floors.
Do you build ADA-accessible bathrooms?
Yes. We have experience with ADA bathrooms and accessible homes: curbless and low-threshold showers, properly anchored grab bars, benches, comfort-height fixtures, wider doorways, and the clearances that make a space usable with a walker or wheelchair. See our ADA and wheelchair-accessible remodeling page.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Kitchens, bathrooms (including ADA-accessible bathrooms), whole-home remodels, additions, finished basements, flooring (including polyaspartic flake floors), popcorn ceiling removal, ramps, decks, siding, windows, plumbing, and trim carpentry. Big or small, if it's on your house, ask us.
